The pub that was once a church lacked support and often seemed quiet. It would be better if the pub focused more on its historical significance rather than having a TV.

Had a great Easter break in this historic gem. Loved the freshly cleaned rooms and friendly staff. the central location was unbeatable for exploring the town on foot. the secure and spacious parking was a nice freebie that made our stay easier.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel in the small village. The location is just perfect as it's situated in the main street between mountains. The rooms at The Royal Hotel Pilgrims Rest are absolutely charming! With their late Victorian decor and parquet floors, they give off such a cozy and nostalgic vibe. The private bathrooms with a bath are also a nice touch. As a family with young kids, we really felt like we were transported to a different era.

One thing I personally didn't love was that some rooms have a balcony. I know, some people might find it amazing to have a balcony, but with the little ones, I was a bit worried about their safety.

I always stay here, no regrets. Staff even helped with sim cards during my first visit. It suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar/restaurant, and a range of activities to enjoy. Can't wait to come back for the weekend!
